• Pay corrections — this release fixes more than a dozen calculations that were producing wrong figures, some of them since the app's first version. If your totals change after updating, one of the items below is why. Nothing you entered has changed; only the math around it. Apologies for the errors.
• Multi-state weeks now withhold state tax the way payroll companies do: each state gets its own line, the work state taxes the wages earned there, and your home state takes the remainder after credit. Reciprocity agreements and nonresident thresholds are applied automatically, and city wage taxes (Philadelphia, Louisville, Lexington, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati) follow the days worked there.
• Travel days with no times entered now pay the travel guarantee plus the full per diem — previously they quietly paid $0. Blank Prep and Wrap days honor the weekly and distant minimum calls, and crew on the "Auto" hire schedule are priced on the weekly wage scale once a full week is detected — estimates for full-week crew drop slightly to the paystub-accurate figure.
• Re-rates now change pay: marking a day as a higher classification pays that classification's rate, with benefits following. Second units are paid on their own location. Loan-outs are no longer withheld from. Social Security is no longer under-estimated on bigger weeks, and the Married-at-higher-Single status no longer over-withholds on short weeks.
• Per diem pays on idle and travel days it used to skip. Local vs. distant hire is reworked: mark a day Distant, set a standing Hire Status, or pin a single person's single day — suitcase and house icons show exactly who earns per diem.
• Changes sync across your devices moments after you make them.
• One Email button covers Daily Time Sheets, Weekly Time Cards, Box Rental Invoices, and Time Cards to Crew — each with a preview of exactly what the draft will say and attach. Templates use draggable wildcard tokens, live previews, and can include each person's weekly numbers. Crew emails carry a small data file their own copy of the app can import.
• Daily Time Sheets paginate past 18 crew: continuation pages repeat the header, carry a page count, and number rows correctly in the margin. Previously crew beyond row 18 were silently left off the stamped PDF.
• Arrange the Summary your way with Manage Columns — pin the columns you care about and drag them into your own order. The Crew page is a single screen, with job-title and rate editors that preview exactly what will print and pay.
• Every day remembers its own city and work site, so editing a show's location never quietly changes weeks you already submitted — Apply Location copies one deliberately. Restoring a backup no longer drops the Holiday Pay setting or Show Code.
• My Details holds your tax elections and signature, synced across devices. Your signature appears on every time card format, and a blank SSN prints as "on file".
• Rate data: published Digital Utility scales, a complete state minimum wage table covering every state, DC, and Puerto Rico, and penny-accurate corrections to two Low Budget rates.
• Plus: a warning when a call time overlaps the previous day's wrap, Redeem Code for App Store offers, Social Security explanations that tally your checks toward the annual wage base, and Split View window hardening.

• Now on iPhone and iPad — TimeCardRobot is a universal app, included with your existing purchase. Punch the day in on set from your phone, check the week on iPad, and it's already on your Mac when you sit down to send it. Shows, crew, and time cards sync over iCloud.
• Local and distant hires, handled per person — mark a day distant and the app works out each crew member's hire city and state, so someone hired locally is figured under standard conditions instead of distant terms. Any entry can be pinned to Automatic, Distant Hire, or Local Hire, and a small house marker shows which one is in play. Per diem now matches on city and state together.
• Rest requirements corrected for digital classifications — Loaders, DITs, Shaders, and Utility now use the same distant rest floor as the assistants, so their turnaround and rest calculations line up with the rest of the crew.
• Contract editor is fast again — typing in the rate and rule fields is instant. Two-digit numbers appear as you type them instead of one character at a time. Click into a numeric field and it selects the whole value, so typing replaces the number cleanly. Reset to Defaults now clears classifications you renamed, not just rates you changed.
• My Details keeps your tax picture — federal filing status, dependents, and additional withholding sit alongside your hire details, with a drawn signature you can capture once and reuse.
• Meal penalties, explained — the Summary popover adds a what-if line showing what the week would have totaled with a 30-minute extension, re-run through the full engine rather than estimated. The Gross Pay popover itemizes holiday pay and weekly overtime premium separately.
• Contract view gains the Overtime — Distant Location ladder, laid out the same way on every device, and forced-call warnings now key to the same work site the pay engine used.
• Fixes and polish — crew hired outside the US can leave Hire State unset and the estimate degrades cleanly to no state income tax or disability withholding; the Editing, Reset to Defaults, and Compare controls no longer overlap the Meal Periods heading; chart axis labels stagger instead of colliding when thresholds crowd; the paywall recovers on its own if products are slow to load; and the About window shows which channel a copy came from.

• Every state, modeled — paycheck estimates now cover all 50 states plus DC and Puerto Rico, including each state's disability and paid-leave programs and this year's mid-year rate changes. Louisville, Lexington, Detroit, Baltimore, Indianapolis, and Portland join the city-tax list, and the deductions tooltip itemizes each program the way it prints on a stub.
• Distant-location pay, corrected top to bottom — overtime for weekly crew starts after 9 hours on distant days, minimum calls follow each hire schedule (9.5 hours daily, 8 hours weekly), short days pay through the overtime ladder the way real paychecks do.
• Weekly-schedule overtime, per day — assistants and technicians on a weekly schedule now break into overtime after 8 worked hours each day, with the 40-hour weekly rule kept as a safety floor. The Crew page shows what Auto-Detect resolves to for the show, and the Summary tooltips explain when a week used the weekly schedule.
• Rest periods between studio and distant days now follow the day you wrapped, and meals taken after golden hours begin are paid at the golden rate.
• Contract edits stay yours without going stale — only the fields you actually change are kept, tied to the exact contract you edited, and edits made in older versions no longer freeze your calculations. Every show picks up the latest formulas automatically.
• Reconciling shows both numbers — expand a paycheck row in My Work and each field shows the app's estimate beneath your entry, highlighted when they differ; click any value for the full estimated-versus-actual math. Columns for local tax, additional withholding, and a new Other Deductions catch-all appear only when a paycheck carries a value.
• New info notes explain unusual pay moments — a paid second meal on a short distant day, a short day paid up to its minimum call, a meal paid at the golden rate.
• Region map — click a state on the Contract page to see Local 600 office cities and that state's tax and paid-leave programs.
• Polish — studio and distant rest requirements side by side on the Contract page, a Show Setup box that holds its size while you click around, and Rerate spelled the same throughout.

• Undo, throughout the app — ⌘Z now reliably undoes time entries, re-rates, deletions, and typing, and the Edit menu always names exactly what it will undo. Deleting a show or a work week restores in a single step instead of piece by piece.
• More accurate pay — a top-to-bottom audit against the union agreements corrected worked holidays, weekend turnaround, weekly overtime, and several overtime ladders. Distant-location work now applies the correct rest requirements and no longer charges forced-call premiums it shouldn't, and a Saturday holiday during a distant week stays on Saturday.
• Vacation and holiday accruals — these now follow the agreements precisely, and each show can say whether the amounts arrive in every paycheck or are held for a final payout. Banked amounts appear in blue on the Summary.
• Daily Allowance — record a negotiated per-day amount for hazard pay, a stipend, or specialized work. It's taxable, appears in Gross Pay as its own line, and never inflates overtime.
• Show Library, redone the Mac way — click to select, double-click or Open to open, and right-click for Open, Duplicate, and Delete. The New Show sheet appears over the library, so your shows stay in view while you name the new one.
• A demo worth exploring — Demo Mode now opens a full two-year career across fourteen productions, complete with a paycheck history that reconciles, so you can see everything the app does before entering a single time of your own.
• Report a Problem, privately — Help › Report a Problem builds a pre-addressed support email. Optionally attach an anonymized copy of a show's numbers: every name, note, and personal detail is removed before the file is created.
• Reliability — TimeCardRobot now verifies your library each time it opens and quietly repairs inconsistencies that syncing between Macs could leave behind. A damaged local database recovers gracefully instead of preventing launch, Settings says plainly when sync is idle because iCloud isn't signed in, and typing always lands in the cell you clicked.
• Small conveniences — right-click a day tab to apply that day's location to the whole week, the Today button finds the nearest week when today isn't scheduled, and Esc closes the Email Time Cards and Manage Crew sheets.

• iCloud sync across your Macs — now working reliably. Your shows, time cards, and paychecks stay in step on every Mac signed into your iCloud account, automatically. Tip: if you previously entered the same show on two Macs, you may see both copies after the first sync — delete either one and the cleanup syncs everywhere.
• Sync status at a glance — Settings › Backups shows a live iCloud sync indicator, so you always know your data has a current cloud copy.
• Safer backup restore — restoring a backup now updates your data in place and works correctly with iCloud sync across your Macs.
• Demo Mode, fully separated — demo shows now live in their own space and can never mix with your real library or your iCloud data.

• Show export/import — a crew member's hire schedule (Daily/Weekly/Auto) now survives the round trip, preserving overtime calculations on import.

The Add Work Week sheet has a new calendar-style picker; shows that shoot a Wed–Sun pattern (or shift mid-season) can match the schedule exactly. • Contract Compare Mode — New Compare button in the Contract view shows two contracts side-by-side. Toggle "Show Differences" to cyan-tint cells that don't match.
• Paycheck math validation — On My Work, the orange triangle now catches three kinds of typo: Net Pay not matching Gross − Deductions, Gross not matching Taxable + Box Rentals + Reimbursements, and Pension Hours exceeding Total Hours. Click for a breakdown of which check failed and by how much.
• Important math fix — Paycheck rows used to balance "by luck" when Box Rental or Reimbursement amounts were entered — the previous formula was double-counting those values and silently masking real discrepancies. Now corrected.
• Bug fix — Paycheck deduction columns no longer flicker when the active filter contains equal counts of EP and C&C-style paychecks. The column order is now deterministic.
• Reconciliation polish — Money fields format with $ and thousand commas ($2,850.00). Negative numbers silently clamp to 0. Tabbing through cells auto-scrolls the data column to keep the focused field visible. Expanding a row near the bottom of the screen scrolls into view.
• Today button works from any view — Jump to today's work week with one click from Show, Crew, or Contract views, not just from a week view.

• TimeCardRobot files (.tcr, .tcrshow, .tcrcrew, .tcrbackup) now carry proper icons in the Files app and Mail, and all of them open in the app with a tap.
• Tap the tab you're already on to jump back to the top — Shows returns to your show list, My Work scrolls to the top.
• Automatic backups are now capped sensibly, with count and disk usage shown in Settings. Polish throughout: smoother Show Library, subtle number animations, and light haptic confirmations.

• Pay corrections — if your totals change after updating, one of the items below is why. Nothing you entered has changed; only the math around it. Apologies for the errors.
• Travel days with no times entered now pay the travel guarantee plus the full per diem — previously they quietly paid $0. Blank Prep and Wrap days honor the weekly and distant minimum calls, and crew on the "Auto" hire schedule are priced on the weekly wage scale once a full week is detected — estimates for full-week crew drop slightly to the paystub-accurate figure.
• Multi-state weeks now withhold state tax the way payroll companies do: each state gets its own line, the work state taxes the wages earned there, and your home state takes the remainder after credit. Reciprocity agreements and nonresident thresholds are applied automatically, and city wage taxes (Philadelphia, Louisville, Lexington, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati) follow the days worked there.
• Opening the app lands in your last-open show, with the Show Library one tap away — every show listed with its contract type.
• On a show where you're the only listed crew member, the Crew tab becomes "My Info" and opens your own details directly.
• Daily Time Sheets paginate past 18 crew: continuation pages repeat the header, carry a page count, and number rows correctly in the margin. Previously crew beyond row 18 were silently left off the stamped PDF.
• The Charts and Totals tabs in My Work open noticeably faster.
• Name fields now show a small label above what you've typed, so you can always tell what a field is after it's filled in. Setup screens show effective values in gray when unset, and Work State is a picker.
• iPad refinements: the Show Library, titles, and tab switchers now match the iPhone, toolbar controls are properly spaced, and page margins scroll with the content.
• The keyboard's Done button is tinted and prominent, dragging down dismisses the keyboard, and adding a crew member opens the editor with the keyboard ready on the name field.
• Share and export actions that used to hide behind a "..." button are now one tap.
• Restoring a backup onto an existing show no longer drops the Holiday Pay setting or the Show Code.

• TimeCardRobot comes to iPhone and iPad — the same weekly pay math you use on the Mac, now on the device that's in your pocket at wrap. Your shows, crew, and time cards sync over iCloud, so a day punched in on set is already there when you open your Mac.
• Punch in on set — a full-week grid on iPad and a fast day-at-a-time form on iPhone, with a custom time pad built for entering call, meal, and wrap times quickly.
• My Work, everywhere — year-to-date earnings, hours by month, top shows, and paycheck reconciliation across every show you've worked, on any device.
• Contract reference and editor — every rate, threshold, and rule presented as a readable card, and editable for your specific deal memo, on iPhone and iPad as well as Mac.
• Send from anywhere — generate time cards as PDF, hand off a week as CSV, or pass a whole job to another TimeCardRobot user as a .tcr file, straight from your phone.
